[Objectives]Through the observation of point press curative effect of different interval time for early stroke patients with hemiplegia, determined the best interval time of point press. The results can provide some references and Clinical evidences for early stroke hemiplegia treatment. The purpose of this research is to improve the quality of stroke patients’ life.[Methods]This study selected60cases of early stroke patients with hemiplegia as the research object, according to the random number table to randomize patients divided into point press everyday, every2days, and every3days group, with20patients in each group. This three group patients used point press treatment on the bas is of rout ine ward nursing. The per iod of treatment time was two weeks. Before and after two-week treatment, judging patients the clinic effect by assessing on movement function with Motor Assessment Scale(MAS), the recovery of neurological functions, and Activities of daily living (ADL) with Barthel index (BI). All the datas were analyzed by the SPSS16.0.[Results]1、In terms of movement funct ion, three groups got obviously higher MAS score after two-week intervention than before intervention(P<0.01); Comparison between groups’differences shows:everyday group got higher score than every2days group, had statistically significant (P<0.01). everyday group got higher score than every3days group, also had statistically significant (P <0.01). Compared MAS score differences between every2days group and every3days group, the differences had no statistically significant (P>0.05), but every2days group got higher score than every3days group.2、In terms of neural function, three groups got obviously higher Nerve function defect score after two-week intervention than before intervention(P<0.01); Comparison between groups’differences shows:everyday group got higher score than every2days group, had statistically significant (P<0.01). everyday group got higher score than every3days group, also had statistically significant (P<0.01).Compared Nerve function defect score differences between every2days group and every3days group, the differences had no statistically significant (P>0.05), but every2days group got higher score than every3days group.3、In terms of Activities of daily living, three groups got obviously higher BI score after two-week intervention than before intervention (P<0.01); Comparison between groups’differences shows:everyday group got higher score than every2days group, had statistically significant (P<0.01). everyday group got higher score than every3days group, also had statistically significant (P <0.05). Compared BI score differences between every2days group and every3days group, the differences had no statistically significant (P>0.05), but every2days group got higher score than every3days group.[Conclus ions]1. Useing point press methods for early stroke patients with hemiplegia can effect ively improve their motor funct ion, the neural function and the activi t ies of daily living.2, Among three different interval time groups, point press everyday group had most obviously curative effect in the motor function, the neural function and the activities of daily living. Then in the second place is the point press every3days group, and in the third place is the point press every2days group.
