Research purperseNursing Research Papers is one of the forms of research findings; it plays a very importantrole to promote the development of the nursing profession. With the vigorous development of thenursing journals in china, the volume of nursing research increasing, the content of nursingacademic research becoming more and more rich, however, the traditional method of evaluatingnursing academic research papers based on reviewer sheet exposes very many problems.Current domestic and international study on the evaluation of the quality of nursing researchpaper is various, and most of them are inclined to evaluate those papers were published, and theevaluation have their own characteristics, however ,they can’t evaluate the quality of nursingacademic papers on itself. Therefore, this study builds a evaluation index system of thequality of nursing academic research paper by analyzing the internal levy and the requirementsof nursing academic papers, and provide reviewers a more scientific , reseasonable and accurateassessment of the manuscripts’quality . It helps nursing academic journals selecting morehigh-quality papers, and it will have a great significance to promoting the development of thenursing academic journals.ObjectsWe interviewed 10 experts of two journals, four of them are senior editors, 6 of them aresenior experts. These experts have rich experience in editor work.There are 31 experts attend the study ,they came from 13 geographically areas in China,such as Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Shanxi, Shandong, Jilin, Xinjiang, Jiangsu, And theyengaged in different working fields such as nursing education, nursing research ,clinical care,nursing management ,humanistic care.MethodsApplication of the literature analysis, theoretical analysis, and expert interview method toexplore the basic principles, contents and the beginning of nursing academic research papersquality indicator system; The application of Delphi method of screening indicators anddetermining the weight indicator system;the application of SPSS 13.0 statistical software andExcel 2003 office software for data processing.Results1.Through two rounds of consulting experts and combining with the advice of researchgroup members, with the criterion of screening indexes that averages was greater than or equal to3.5,CV was less than or equal to 0.25, the percentage of full marks was more than or equal to0.20, this study confined the form of nursing academic research papers indicator system. The indicator system includes 6 first grade indexes, 20 second grade indexes and 108 third gradeindexes.2. Taking into account the applicability of the indicator system , the evaluation of the“political ideology, ethics”two indicators has only“yes”or“no”two choices, then the weightcalculation meaningless, and this study will only weight the remaining indicators: innovation ,applicability, scientific, normalized, and the first grade indicators weight value are 0.2471, 0.254,0.2704,0.2261.3．The expert authority coefficient of the study is 0.86, greater than 0.7, it demonstrate thatthe outcomes is credible. The rates of qualified return sheet are 83.87% and 92.31%. Thecooperation index of the paper are 0.210, 0.217, the first grade cooperation index of the paper are0.340, 0.354, the second grade cooperation index of the paper are 0.318, 0.319, the thirdcooperation index of the paper are 0.159, 0.161, it implies that the result is valuable.ConclusionAccording depth discussion, comprehensive analysis of the elements of the quality ofnursing academic papers, this study defined the quality evaluation indicator system for nursingacademic research papers by using the Delphi method.
