To set the index of evaluation index system of nursing journal academic influencein China.Through two rounds of expert consultation, it combines the expert evaluation with expert knowledge to ultimately determine the nursing journals academic influence evaluation indicators, including 3 first class index with citation index, journal source index and network transmission index and 8 second class index with total cites, impact factor,Non-self-cited rate, highly cited papers, literature source, average number of citation, area distributing number and web downloads.2. To set the index weight of evaluation index system of nursing journal academic influence in China. The sub-goals for matrix judgment has been established by expert consultation and analytic hierarchy process(AHP) is used to calculate the index weight. Through consistency check, the result could be obtained that the consistency ratios of judgment matrix were less than 0.10 and the ordination results had satisfactory consistency.First-class index weight respectively: Journal Citation Index(0.7306), Journal of source index(0.1884), network transmission index(0.0810), Second-class index weight respectively: total cites(0.3616), impact factor(0.2273), Non-self-cited rate(0.0971),highly cited papers(0.0446), literature source(0.1118), average number of citation(0.0470), area distributing number(0.0296) and web downloads(0.0810).3. Comprehensive evaluation result of academic nursing journalsNormalized the primary data of each index and then take weighted summarization to obtain the comprehensive value. To compare the top 12 journals with the 12 kinds of nursing core journals, Synthesis of the top five both are the Chinese journal of nursing,Chinese nursing research, Chinese journal of practical nursing, journal of nurses training and Journal of nursing science. The 3 non-core journals including journal of Qilu nursing, nursing practice research and Chinese general nursing are ranked 6th, 7th, and 8th respectively better than the part of core journal rankings. The sorting results can reflect the real influence of the nursing journals. Conclusions:The evaluation index system recover “total article” index, add "Web downloads" index, remove the "fund paper rate" index, combined with the characteristics of the nursing discipline to evaluate nursing journal. The evaluation index system is applicable to nursing journals, and demonstrate the characteristic of nursing profession in some extent, be able to evaluate the nursing journals comprehensively, scientifically, objectively. The evaluation results could reflect the journal’s academic influence basically, which can provide improvement direction for nursing journals development and improve the academic influence.
