Objective:This randomized controlled prospective study was performed to sum up the clinical characteristic of infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis, and observed traditional Chinese medicine of the clinical effect of infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis. And explore the relationship of the virus inhibition bile sedimentation of improve and restoration of liver function. From understanding the forward effect of the Chinese medicine suppression CMV, we want to develop out the diagnosis standard of the Neonatal cytomegalovirus hepatitis, and Chinese and Western medicine treatment options, for reducing the Cirrhosis risk because of long time cholestasis and Hepatocellular damage, and improve the survival rates of children with. Methods:A systematic prospective of research methods,43infants diagnosed with infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis were included in the study, and random allocate two groups, the treatment and the control group.Clinical data and standard laboratory values were assessed at weeks0,2and4. Using SPSS18.0software, information for statistical analysis of measurement data in line with normal distribution with variance analysis, measurement data does not meet the normal distribution and count column-rank test statistic to (?) said.Results:l.The infants who were hospitalized for infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis have86.1%infants complain of skin and sclera icteric.2. The clinical manifestation of infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis is multiplex, including respiratory system, digestive system, nervous system, circulatory system, blood systems, and other system.3. After2weeks of treatment, the total effective rate was95.45%in treatment group and71.43%in control group, with a great difference between them. The cure rate of treatment group was significantly higher than the control group,(by Chi-square test, F=0.00430,<0.05). In other aspect,①reatment group was significantly improved with jaundice compared with control group(p=0.0448).②n treatment group, the declined mean of serum bilirubin level was85.78umol/L, while control group was37.65umol/L(by rank sum test, Z=0.0062,<0.05).③The average value of ALP decreased significantly in treatment group(98U/L), while control group was54U/L (by rank sum test, Z=0.02514,<0.05). And the average value of GGT in treatment group was89, while control group was73(by rank sum test, Z=0.04382,<0.05).4.After4weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group(95.45%) was significantly higher than the control group(66.67%)(by Chi-square test, F=0.0343,<0.05). In other aspect,①Compare the type-B ultrasonic, the effective rate of treatment group was higher than control group in reducing liver size(by rank sum test, Z=0.0227).②The average value of ALT in treatment group was75.16U/L, while control group was51.63/L(by rank sum test, Z=0.0437,<0.05).③The average value of ALP decreased significantly in treatment group(105U/L), while control group was81U/L (by rank sum test, Z=0.0347,<0.05). The GGT of treatment group fall97in average, and control group fall83in average, which have statistically significant(by rank sum test, Z=0.04519,<0.05).Conclusions:l.In patients with infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis, skin and sclera icteric is the first symptom, although few children has other first symptom, instead of skin and sclera icteric.2. Infant Cytomegalovirus hepatitis may present with cholestatic hepatitis.3. By the laboratory values and accessory examination, we found the clinical features of infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis are prolonged course and serious complications.4. Treatment group was significantly improved with cholestasis and restoration of liver function compared with control group. The traditional Chinese medicine has a substantial curative effect on infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis. This also prove the clinical experience of Pei Xeuyi doctor in treating infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis. Directed toward the stage of infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis, in an early stage focuses on jaundice, and the convalescence focuses on enzymes elevating, we use phased treatment for infant cytomegalovirus hepatitis. The first stage is wearing off jaundice through cholagogic. And in the convalescence, we must protect the liver function and reduce the liver enzyme.
