Research purposeAnalysising and researching modern literatures about TCM treatment and assessment of therapeutic effects of dyslipidemia nearly10years. Based on large sample, multicenter clinical epidemiological survey, exploring the evolution of patients with dyslipidemia syndromes without TCM treatment interventions, and the clinical efficacy evaluation index which can reflect characteristics of TCM.Research content and method1) Retrievaling472articles about clinical research on TCM dyslipidemia treatment nearly10years, read titles and abstracts of the articles to eliminate literature which is not met inclusion criteria, read over the literatures which may match the inclusion criteria, and it into243articles eventually.According to the literatures about the standard evaluation of evidence-based medicine, establish database containing the key factors of effect assessment, analyze and summarize the effect assessment of clinical research in modern literatures, explore the clinical efficacy evaluation index and the distribution of syndromes on TCM dyslipidemia treatment.2) According to the theory of TCM, on the basis of the clinical case of439qualified dyslipidemia patients, using the modern statistical methods to carry on the analysis, exploring the distribution and change rule of the dyslipidemia patients TCM symptoms, analyzing age, gender, education, work characters and types of dyslipidemia, comparing the asymptomatic obesity with the obesity who have symptoms in chemical index of dyslipidemia.ResultsIn the literatures study, the TCM diagnosis standards of dyslipidemia are disunity, the sources of the diagnosis standards are many and diverse, and18.9%of documents have not indicated diagnosis standard sources;87articles describing the classification of syndromes in243articles,18.1%of articles have classified syndrome according to<guiding principle of Chinese herbal new medicine clinical research>, lack of accepted standards; in dyslipidemia randomized controlled trials, only5.3%of articles have used Chinese medicine syndromes score as major evaluation standard, with more modern chemical and physical test index as the foundation. In the epidemic investigation, the mixed dyslipidemia is the most common type of dyslipidemia, accounting for36.7%of the total, the next is high triglycerides hematic disease, accounting for32.6%of the total, high cholesterol is less, accounting for16.9%of the total. The dyslipidemia patients are more men, accounting for58.8%of the total number, but less women, accounted for40.5%.Dyslipidemia patients are most with college and university degree, accounting for54.9%, the next are high school and technical school education, the patients’work characters most are mental workers, account for82.2%of the total, manual workers have accounted for only14.1%. In different supervision time, syndromes of most patients have appeared changes, so TCM syndrome cannot serve as the main dyslipidemia diagnostic criteria and curative effect evaluation index. According to the obese people whether have other symptoms, divided them into two groups, the value of blood fat indexes of two groups have no significant statistically difference (P>0.1). According to the symptom scores of4visitings,the dyslipidemia patients’main TCM symptoms are fat, languid, irritable, dry mouth, forgetfulness, dizziness, etc. The distribution of the tongue pulse, the most of patients have moss thin coating, the common pulse condition, tongue normal, pulse normal, white moss, sink pulse, dark tongue, etc.ConclusionsAccording to the above literature analysis, the curative effect evaluation indexs have some problems, such as being choosed not standard, unified, etc. Dyslipidemia treatment of TCM has not been set up the standard, unified, integrated and scientific index which conforms to the TCM syndromes characteristics. Through analysis of the epidemic research result, TCM syndromes and symptoms will hard to be used as the main standard of clinical evaluation; the main TCM symptoms of dyslipidemia patients are fat, languid, irritable, dry mouth, forgetfulness, dizziness, etc.
