With the rapid development of computer, network communications, mechatronics and a series of science and technology, the degree of automation of the rail transportation equipment has been greatly improved. Semi-automatic ticketing machine is one of the terminal equipments in automatic fare collection system. Starting from the point of view of engineering applications, in a setting of a Metro AFC system development project, this thesis points to the ticketing technology of the semi-automatic ticket vendor, which make semi-automatic ticket vendor more completed and more adaptive of the requirements of metro construction.Firstly, the thesis introduces the overall architecture and working principle of the semi-automatic ticketing system, and analysis of mechanical structure and work processes of the semi-automatic ticket machines, and the demand for control of semi-automatic ticketing machines, which used to derive overall design scheme. Then according to the division of tasks, and starting with both hardware and software design, it introduces how semi-automatic ticketing machine sales tickets. Hardware design includes single chip and motor drive chip selecting, communicating with main engine via the adaptation of RS232gorge line and information detecting with the help of suitable sensor interface circuit. Software design includes matching operating program compiling, communication agreement making and components controlling to realize ticket selling under time series condition. On this foundation, electronic tag reader of ballot box is applied with the use of radio frequency identification technique to enhance the intelligent management of ballot box. Finally,in order to verify the accuracy and reliability of the semi-automatic ticketing technology, we draw up the test program, conduct experimental testing, observe and analyze of the experimental results.
