Valve electromagnet is the electromechanical converter of electro-hydraulic control components. Its performance can match to the valve's characteristic well or not determines not only the valve's performance, but aslo the whole hydraulic system. But very little work of the research of electromagnet testing equipment used in valve has been done. This have became an obstacle of the electromagnet development.In this thesis, an automatic test rig for dynamic and static performances of valve electromagnet is developed. Industrial PC, Data Acquisition Card, PLC, precise sensor and line stepper motor are used in the test rig. Based on the advanced Computer Aided Test technology, Virtual Instrument technology and Automation technology, the test rig can automatically test all the performances of the valve electromagnet with high precision and frequency response. It can process data at high speed, analyze them accurately, store them with large-capacity. Also it has high reliability and stability but the very low cost. The contents in details are as follows:In chapter 1, the state of the art and trend of valve electromagnet and its test equipment are summarized. Also the research aim and significance are discussed.In chapter 2, the overall structure of the automatic test rig for dynamic and static performance of valve electromagnet is developed. Also the structure principle and operation process are described.In chapter 3, the mechanical system of the automatic test rig for dynamic and static performance of valve electromagnet is developed. Also the stresses of some key components are analysised by simulation.In chapter 4, the control system hardware of the automatic test rig and parameters for dynamic and static performance of valve electromagnet is designed. The type of key component and their parameters are decided, the circuit such as PLC and its extension module, positioning module, sensor driving module, power supply module and interface module are designed. In chapter 5, the control system software of the automatic test rig for dynamic and static performance of valve electromagnet is exploited, including data processing, database management and curve drawing program base on Labview and precise positioning,communication I/O management with PLC.In chapter 6, some conclusions are drawn and some new views are put forward for next step work.
