As the electric vehicles develop rapidly in recent years,more and more people are beginning to learn about it and pay close attention to the performance of electric vehicles.Among them,the main concerns when customers decide to buy electric vehicles include battery charging,continue voyage course and service life issues.The conventional charging method needs a long charging time,and the inconsistency of batteries can happen during the charging process,it seriously affect the service life of batteries and the overall endurance of electric vehicles.In response to these problems,this paper will give a study on the charging method and battery pack equalization of electric vehicles.In order to find out the charging time and difference of electric vehicle battery,this paper takes lithium battery as the research object,it first makes an analysis of the various factors that affect the voltage during the quick-charging process by taking different charging methods and experiments,and then it further analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of each way in which the current quick-charging of electric vehicle battery works.The charging method of variable current quick-charging is designed in combination with the quick-charging theory at last.So as to meet the balance in the quick-charging mode,a new inductive topology circuit using the battery with the operating voltage as the equalization variable is used based on analyzing various causes and topologies of the battery pack inconsistency.Besides,the design is repeated twice according to the changes of the battery stages,and the balanced strategy equalizes the battery pack in real time during the charging process and after the charging process,reducing the inconsistency between the batteries.The fuzzy controller is designed to be used in both the charging process and the balanced process,the purpose is to adjust the control variables of each stage in real time to make the battery packs can be charged accurately and balanced in time according to the designed scheme.After the design of the whole charging and balanced scheme is completed,through the simulation of MATLAB/Simulink simulation model and experimental platform verification,with a comparion between the conventional charging method and the equilibrium structure and the simulation and experimental results of the design in this paper,the feasibility and effectiveness of the designed scheme were verified.Finally,the paper gives a whole summary and makes some prospects for the future development direction.
