In today’s society,the lights become a necessary part used in the families in every day’s life.the electricity consumption of lights account for13%%of the total electricity every year.Therefore,it is significant to make a research on energy saving.Fluorescent lamp is common used lamp.In addition to Studying efficient conversion rates for fluorescent lig-ht,how to ensure the fluorescent lamps working when the fault condition appeared acco-rding to the normal operation of timing state has become the focus of research.Therefore, the designing of a finite state machine to control the timing fluorescent become the focus of this paper.This thesis are divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduces the background of the development of lighting and the development situation of domestic and foreign lights. The second chapter presents the concept of finite state machine,fluorescent lamps’working timing process,and how to use the finite state machine to control working timing process of fluorescent lamp.In addition,this paper introduces the existing fault when fluorescent lamp is woking,and gives a finite state machine diagram of the state transition.The content of the third chapter is the key part for the thesis.According to fluorescent timing start-up process, let me introduce the corresponding circuit designing step by step and list some simulation results.Of course,in this chapter.I will narrate detailed description of principle of operation of some part of related circuits,such as Schmitt Toggle circuit,by the way,it also gives the necessary formula derived. According to the designing of the control logic circuit,gives the state transition figure,state transition conditions,and the key role of the signal are describ-ed in detail description.Circuit layout designing is stated in the fourth chapter.First,introdu-ced the basic theory of layout designing,especially for the process of the overall arrangem-ent of the layout of the device,pay attention to the relevant device matching symmetrical; last,lists the layout of some module circuit and the whole circuit respectively.The content of chapter5is a concluding chapter,mainly being the summary of the previous chapters, aslo raise some prospects for the shortage during designing process.The simulation designing use technology of Germany’s XFAB1.0μm,650V insulation BCD process,aslo shows the simulation results of the module circuits and overall circuit respectively.According to the simulation results,the circuit designing can meet the design requirements of basic indicators.
