Along with the growing trend of domestic and foreign Cumene demand, currentdomestic Cumene unit expand its scale of production, the safety issues of unit havebeen highlighted due to the danger of materials. This paper through the analysis of thereasons that may cause the accidents in Cumene unit, and find out the way ofprevention, it has important practical significance of ensuring unit safety.This study in-depth excavates the reason of dangerous and harmful factorswhile analyze Cumene unit process risk, and by the integration of reasons, itestablishes an safety evaluation index system based on human-machine-environmentsystem and the theory of safety system engineering, and then uses the AHP method toverify the weight consistency of the determined indexes. During the establishment ofevaluation index system, it fully considers the factor of human、equipments、safetyfacilities and environment、 safety management and process. According to thereference of a number of experienced experts, it is scientific and rational to establishthis index system. On the analysis of human factor,it finds out the causes of humanerror and put forward the ways and methods to ensure the security of human; On theanalysis of machine factor,it divides into two aspects, equipment and safety facilities,puts forward measures should be taken to eliminate or reduce the risk respectively. Onthe analysis of environmental factor, it considers the factors such as temperature,lighting, illumination, noise, vibration and other factors, and puts forward themeasures and methods of improvement; On the analysis of process factor, it considersthe factors of parameters, material risk, technology innovation and other aspects, andputs forward the related proposal.At last, according to the reference of relevant standards in petrifaction enterpriseand the experts’ recommends, this paper develops the grading standards of theevaluation index system. After grading the indexes by the standards, it use theselected gray evaluation method to comprehensive evaluate the index system, andthen gets the evaluation result.
