Kunming City Residential Environment Quality Comprehensive Evaluation And Prediction Research

Kunming which is known as “spring city”,“flower city”, is recognized as the idealplace for the leisure, tourism, vacation, living. The livability of the environment ofurban human settlement of Kunming city comes from its special weather conditionwhich is not freezing in winter, not hot in summer and year-round spring. However,from a quantitative point of view to study the environment of urban human settlementof Kunming city is still insufficient, which is the starting point for research in thispaper.This paper uses principal component analysis and system dynamics methods toevaluate and predict the environment quality of human settlement. Dividing thesystem of the environment of human settlement in Kunming city into nature, human,society, settlement, support five systems, using SPSS software to analysis the63variables with principal component analysis, so as to get the result of the recentquality of the environment of human settlement. Then use Vensim PLE software tobuild model with system dynamics method. According to the requirement of buildingmodel, use72variables and76equations to predict the quality of the environment ofhuman settlement in Kunming city. Finally comparatively analyze the results ofprincipal component analysis and system dynamics method, and obtain the followingconclusions:①The whole quality of the environment of human settlement of Kunming Citybecomes better, especially which develops from negative level to positive level since1995. This can reflect that the sustainability and livability of Kunming City improvesgreatly.②A significant affect factor of the environment of human settlement of KunmingCity still is the level of urban economy which is the economic base and materialsecurity to improve the environment of urban human settlement. Human subsystem ofthe environment of urban human settlement has not been well controlled, resulting ina large urban population fluctuations and a sharp increase in urban population. Recently the situation of controlled population and the results of the simulationforecast are basically unanimous, which can reflect that the urban population is understrictly control and appears a gradually increasing trend. The urban living subsystemand support subsystem can not fully play their roles, so that the environment of urbanhuman settlement and the development trend of the urban living system and supportsystem are less consistent. The development trend of natural system of Kunming Cityemerges irregular-shaped, which is inconsistent with the development trend of theenvironment of urban human settlement. This can reflect that the natural system cannot obviously promote the development of the environment urban human settlementof Kunming City.③The various subsystems are not completely synchronous with the developmenttrend of the environment of urban human settlement, which can illustrate that theconstruction of the environment of human settlement exists bias.④According to the changes span of the various subsystems, know that socialsubsystem has been markedly improved, but human subsystem and living subsystemdo not improve obviously.⑤According to the influence of the various subsystems for the environment ofurban human settlement of Kunming City, natural subsystem strengthens the impactof the environment of urban human settlement, and illustrates that natural climatic andprotection of the natural environment need to get more attention with the constructionof the environment of urban human settlement.
