Research On The Evaluation Of The Coordinated Development Relationship Between Human Settlement And Urbanization In The Yangtze River Economic Belt

In 2013,the central urbanization work conference put forward the strategy of the urbanization which is "stabilizing and improving",that is,the development of urbanization is as important as the development of human settlement.With the rapid development of urbanization in China,the human settlement has significantly improved.However,the rapid development of urbanization has brought a series of problems to the human settlement,such as environment pollution,housing shortage,traffic congestion,and resource shortage.These not only affect the development of urbanization,but also affect the ultimate goal of urbanization,which is improving the human settlement.Therefore,the study about how to coordinate and develop the relationship between human settlement and urbanization is of great significance and value.The paper studies the coordinated development relationship between human settlement and urbanization in the 11 cities of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from 2005 to 2015.Based on the existing literature,the principle of constructing the evaluation index system is science,hierarchy,comprehensiveness,representativeness,operability.The human settlement index system consists of living conditions,ecological environment,public service facilities,and spiritual and cultural life.The urbanization index system consists of population structure,economic development level,industrial structure,spatial structure,and consumption structure.First of all,this paper adopts the kernel principal component method optimized by R programming for comprehensive evaluation.Second,uses the linear regression equation and cointegration test by EVIEWS to explore the coordinated development relationship between human settlement and urbanization.Finally,measures the coordinated development level of the cities for coordinated development by using the coordinated development model.On the basis of analyzing and comparing the evaluation results,the paper puts forward to the suggestions of 11 cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt for coordinated development of human settlement and urbanization.The empirical results show:First,the comprehensive evaluation based on the kernel principal component method through optimization,can take into account the linear and nonlinear relationships between the evaluation indicators,and makes the first principal component contribute to more than 85%.Second,the comprehensive evaluation values of human settlement and urbanization show a rising trend,and all change linearly with the year but with different slopes in the 11 major cities.Third,the relationship between human settlement and urbanization is not all coordinated in the 11 major cities.In the 9 cities with coordinated development,the degree of coordinated development shows a steady upward trend with the year,but the degree develops slowly,the overall level is low,and the degree is uneven in various cities.
