This report makes a simple introduction about the relevant information of theoriginal text and analyzes its text type and language features. Newmark’s text analysis theoryand related translation strategy are used in the translation process. The significance of theproject lies in improving and strengthening the relevant government departments andindividuals’ capabilities to cope with climate changes through describing the relationship amongweather, climate and human health and its importance. This report is divided into five parts:chapter one is the report’s project introduction including project background, significance andreport structure; chapter two presents the background of the original text containing theintroduction of the author and the analysis of the source text; chapter three aims at analyzingtranslation difficulties. The source text involves more contents about the fields of meteorology,medicine, physiology and so on.
