The Advanced Culture And Social Ideological Trend Of Integration Research

With the unceasing deepening and the development of reform andopening up and the process of economic globalization, there havebeen a variety of social ideological trends in the fields of China’sideology and culture. These social ideological trends are theperformance of the interests of various social classes, social groups,and are the reflection of the open society and the diverse values. Theycan provide a theoretical frame of reference for social change andcultural construction. However, any society has its core anddominated ideology. We acknowledge the objectivity and rationality ofthe existence of diverse social ideological trends, but that does notmean that we can weaken or abandon the guiding position of Marxism.The advanced socialist culture of contemporary mainstream ideologyis the advanced culture guided by Marxism, and the essence of it isthe socialist core value system which is the theoretical result of thecombination of Marxism and the practice of socialist constructionwith Chinese characteristics. Contemporary Chinese advancedculture of socialism is scientific, advanced, open, and inclusive.Integrating social ideological trends into the advanced culture isfeasible and necessary in reality. That integrating social ideological trends into the advanced culture, and the advanced culture leads thedevelopment of social ideological trends, is the inevitablerequirement of condensing social ideology, and resolving socialcontradictions; it is the inevitable choice of absorbing the reasonablekernel of social ideological trends, promoting the construction ofadvanced culture, and promoting the construction of advancedsocialist culture.The first part of this study elaborates the scientific connotation ofcontemporary Chinese advanced culture of socialism from thegeneral theory of the advanced socialist culture. And on this basis, atheoretical analysis of the integration ability of the advanced culturewith social ideological trends is provided, which will provide atheoretical basis for the feasibility of integrating social ideologicaltrends into the advanced culture. Besides, the necessity ofintegrating social ideological trends into the advanced culture is alsoanalyzed. Meantime, the significance of integrating social ideologicaltrends into the advanced culture is discussed from its role inenhancing national cohesion, maintaining social stability, expandingthe mass base of ideological, reaching social consensus, leading thecultural development of social ideological trends, and serving forbuilding a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and so on.The status quo of social ideological trends in contemporary Chinasince the reform and opening up, is briefly summarized and assessedin the second part. At the same time, China’s diverse socialideological trends since the reform and opening up, such as the newliberalism, New Left ideological trends, ideological trends ofnationalism, national nihilism ideological trends and democratic socialist ideological trends, is discussed in order to achieve ascientific and reasonable understanding of social ideological trendsin contemporary China. The characteristics of contemporary China’ssocial ideological trends is further analyzed, meanwhile, thecharacteristics of contemporary China’s social ideological trendswhich are groupment, reality, history and leading feature, is pointedout. Then discusses the challenges posed by the social ideologicaltrends on our mainstream ideology, which confirms that integratingsocial ideological trends has become an inevitable choice to promotethe harmonious development of economic. The third part mainlydiscusses the path of integrating social ideological trends into theadvanced culture. When integrating social ideological trends into theadvanced culture, we must adhere to the dominant position ofMarxism, expand Marx’s influence; and must be inclusive with thedifference and diversity of social ideological trends; and must absorbrational components of the social ideological trends, leading socialideological trends to move closer to the mainstream ideology; andmust improve the advanced culture’s influence, and improveadvanced culture’s discrimination, criticism force and penetration onsocial ideological trend. Only in this way can the advanced cultureplay a better role in integration, can we make good use of our diversesocial ideological trends, and promote the scientific and harmoniousdevelopment of our economic society.
