| The strong consciousness of life showed by Chinese traditional art, especially by Chinese painting, is always obtained attention from scholars at home and abroad. Chinese painting takes life as the highest creed and holds life spirit as high esteem, which greatly affects the development of Chinese painting, especially affects the development and mature of literati paintings in the Yuan dynasty. In the Yuan dynasty, the future era of Chinese painting development history, the Yuan literati painters roughly identified the main painting tradition of Chinese painting. Also in this period, life consciousness in the art of painting has been hitherto unknown attention and sufficient interpretation. The spirit of life cared by the Yuan dynasty literati painters goes throughout the whole creation practice process, including the theme selection, element construction and artistic creation.
