Business English, as one type of ESP, is an important tool in international economic and trade communication, which acts as a vital role in expediting the process of internationalization, while the translation studies on this practical language is comparatively limited.Aesthetics-Oriented Translation originates from Chinese traditional philosophy and aesthetics. Harmonious beauty, articulate in writing advocated by the Confucianists and emotional ontology in arts has involved the language’s aesthetics. Droved by Descartes’rationalism, western aesthetics has been more systematic and categorical than Chinese aesthetics. Zhu Guangqian, Fu Zhongxuan, Liu Miqing and many other Chinese translators have constructed the Aesthetics-Oriented Translation theory by combining and complementing the Chinese and Western aesthetics. The aim of using this theory is to help translators to explain and analyze the aesthetic problems during the process of translation. The thesis assorts business English texts into6categories:business correspondence, contract and agreement, instruction, trade documents, notice and meeting documents. Business correspondence, contract, advertisement and trade documents are most commonly used among them. This thesis also induces the characteristics of these four business English texts. On this basis, this thesis suggested four strategies for the above mentioned four types of texts:using classical Chinese, breaking up the whole into parts, expressing more love than the meaning and making necessary supplements on the basis of the ABC (accuracy, beauty and compendiousness) criteria for business English texts translation.
