In recent years, the economy of Chinese developed fast, the international status enhanced unceasingly, the international influence was more and more remarkable. In the world, more and more countries started to take communication and exchange with China. Therefore, more and more foreign student comes to China to study Chinese language and Chinese culture. Reading course is an important part in the study of the TCSL. The TCSL is divided into primary, intermediate and the high-level stages according to study difficult degree. The reading course of intermediate TCSL is linking the preceding with the following function. It is very important for foreign students to study the TCSL. Continuously, many teachers and scholar are care about which kind of teaching method suitable to the reading course of intermediate TCSL. This article takes case of<Development Chinese----reading course of intermediate TCSL>.We use the Schema Theory to instruct the reading course of intermediate TCSL. This article is constituted of the introduction, the main text and the conclusion.The first part: Introduction. This part introduces the significance, the contents and research methods of the topic of this article.The second part: Review of previous research of the schema theory. This part mainly introduces the research of the schema theory. This part also introduces the research between the schema theory and English reading teaching, and the research between Schema Theory and TCSL reading teaching. These researches become the foundation for the research of this article.The third part: Design of Intermediate TCSL reading teaching base on Schema Theory. First, this part carries on the front design according to the teaching object, the teaching principle, the teaching goal, the teaching content. On the foundation of the front design, this part research the teaching design revolves the teaching method and the teaching process.The fourth part: The case of designing Intermediate TCSL reading teaching base on Schema Theory. This part take one article <An account in Ratufa gigantea ’s own words>in the<Development Chinese---reading course of intermediate TCSL>to design the teaching caseThe fifth part: Concluding Remarks. This part draws the conclusion to this article’s research, carry on the ponder to the Scheme Theory in the Intermediate Chinese reading teaching design and analyze the insufficiency in this article.
