Recently, the study of the psychological capital has got increasingly high attention by domestic scholars. Employees of high-risk industries have become focused by society and government due to the special nature of its environment and facing greater pressure. Psychological and behavioral status and coping style of the group has a more important impact on their life. Based on the theory at home and abroad, we studied the relationship between coal workers’ psychological capital and coping styles.In this article, we first described the problem of the background and significance of this study, and then develop appropriate research framework based on the purpose. The research use the questionnaire survey based on pre-interview and statistical analysis method. The formal questionnaire measured the resulting data for statistical analysis and processing combining the400coal miners. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire showed that the indicators are up to standard. At the same time the study conducted coal miner psychological capital and coping styles relations. The results showed that:(1) employees of all ages have significant differences on the psychological capital of self-efficacy dimensions, while there are no significant differences in the other three dimensions; different length of service of employees have no significant difference in all dimensions of psychological capital; employees of different posts have no significant difference in the various dimensions of psychological capital; employees of different qualifications have no significant difference in the various dimensions of psychological capital; employees under different working environments in psychological capital, self-efficacy and hope that the two dimensions were significantly different, while there was no significant difference in the other two dimensions; employees whether have the experience of the accident have no significant difference in each dimension of psychological capital.(2) The employees of different ages have significant differences on the problem responding in the uncontrollable context and the controllable context of coping style, while there was no significant difference in the other two dimensions; different length of service of employees have significant differences on the problem responding in the uncontrollable context and the controllable context of coping style, while there is no significant difference in the other two dimensions; employees of different qualifications have significant difference on problem responding in the controllable context, while there is no significant difference in the other dimensions; employees of different degrees have no significant difference in each dimension of the coping styles; employees of different work environment have significant difference on problem responding in the controllable context, while there is no significant difference in the other dimensions; employees whether have the experience of the accident have significant difference on problem responding in the uncontrollable context and the controllable context of coping style and on emotion responding in the uncontrolled context of coping style, while there is no significant difference in the left dimension.(3) There is a significant correlation between psychological capital and coping style; and there is a positive relationship between psychological capital and coping style of the four dimensions; there is a significant positive relationship between four dimensions of psychological capital and four dimensions of coping style, which means that the higher the level of each dimension of the coal workers’psychological capital the more positive coping styles would be taken.(4) Marital status, self-efficacy, hope, toughness, optimism have a significant effect of reunification to the problem responding in uncontrollable contexts of coping style. Post, accident experience, hope. toughness, optimism have a significant effect of reunification to the emotion responding in uncontrollable contexts of coping style. Education, post, hope, optimism have a significant effect of reunification to the problem responding in controllable contexts of coping style. Age, self-efficacy, hope, toughness, optimism have a significant effect of reunification to the emotion responding in controllable contexts of coping styles.
