The theory of psychological capital, originated in foreign countries and have been developed, have been given the attention to by more and more domestic scholars. High school students have drawn much social solicitude, because their special position and high pressure competition they faced. Learning burnout is a general and serious phenomenon in the high school. Based on the relevant theories about psychological capital, this paper takes high school students as subject to study the development of their psychological capital, and compiles the Questionnaire of High School Students' Psychological Capital. Meanwhile the research explores the relationship between psychological capital and learning burnout and coping style. Last this paper points out some advices of mentality health education on the basis of the results of this study.This paper firstly puts forward background and significance of research, formulates the research framework. By means of questionnaire, interviews and mathematical-statistics, this paper makes a research and compiles the Questionnaire of High School Students' Psychological Capital which has good reliability and validity up to psychological test standard. Then the author has tested 500 high school students with three questionnaires to explore the relationship between psychological capital and learning burnout and coping style.The results indicated that:(1)data verifies high school students' psychological capital is formed of four factors, they are self-efficacy, hope, optimism and resilience.(2)The difference of level of high school students' psychological capital among three grades is not significant; in self-efficacy, optimism and resilience, there is a significant difference between male and female, male students are better than female students; hope level of only children is significantly higher than non-only children; there is no difference between students who are from city and country.(3)viewed from the learning burnout, the level of senior 2 and 3 is higher than that of senior 1;(4)in coping style, there is sex difference;(5)psychological capital is negatively correlated with learning burnout, and former can predict the latter; there is significant regression between psychological capital and coping style, and the former is significant predicator of the latter; coping style is correlated with learning burnout, and former can predict the latter;(6)in general, coping style is the partial mediator variable between psychological capital and learning burnout; the factors of coping style are partial or complete mediators between factors of psychological capital and factors of learning burnout.After the analysis of result of this paper, the author points out some advices of mentality health education, and the limitation of this research is also pointed out, and this paper makes prospect on the studies of them. The research involves psychological capital in education, so we can study the relationship between psychological capital and learning burnout and coping style in the Chinese cultural background. It can add to the attention to the psychological capital from domestic scholars and educators, and help develop the mental health education, and we hope the theory of psychological capital can be further enriched and improved.
