The Optative Verbs has been always the key and tough point in TCSOL(TeachingChinese to Speakers of Other Languages). Mongolian learners face much difficultyand have made many grammar errors while they learn the Optative Verbs, but theresearch which pointed the Optative Verbs of Mongolian learners was a weak link. Asfor making the learners learn the Optative Verbs and Chinese more accurately andfluently, the author made a research on the grammar errors while Mongolian learnersuse Optative Verbs.Firstly, the author makes a brief description on the cause and meaning, the theoryand methods of this paper. Then, summarizing the research of the Optative Verbs andits teaching. This paper used multiple research methods, including statistic survey,comparative analysis, key point research etc, analyzed the error sentences of theOptative Verbs. After compared with the data in transverse and longitudinal, the resultshowed that the errors of “会” and “要” occurred most frequently, and followed by“能”“可以”“想”. In the type of errors, False-substitute and Mis-ordering occurredmost frequently, and followed by missing and false-plus. Then, based on the type oferrors, the author made systematic analysis on the errors, and inquired the reasons ofthe errors, which could give teachers some basis for their targeted teaching andresearch. Last, the author made a brief conclusion for the teaching methods of theOptative Verbs.Therefore, the basic structure of this paper is: the first chapter: preface; thesecond chapter: summarizing description of the Optative Verbs and its teaching; thethird chapter: the survey and analysis of Mongolian students learn Optative Verbs; thefourth chapter: the analysis and causes of Mongolian students learn Optative Verbs’grammatical error, the third and fourth chapter are the core of this paper, also the mostcreative and valuable part, at last, the author made a brief conclusion for the teachingmethods of the Optative Verbs.The author wished that this paper will promoted the teaching of the OptativeVerbs in Mongolia, and made the teaching of the Optative Verbs more targeted, whichcould improve the learners’ acquisition level of the Optative Verb. At the same time,the author also wished this paper will arouse more people to have researches on the Chinese teaching in Mongolia.
