It is well known that "interest is the best teacher", therefore, in thecourse of teaching Chinese as foreign language, especially in the classesof primary school students, focusing on interest is necessary. During theperiod of Author’s internship in the school of Mongolia,, in order toincrease the interest of teaching Chinese, author applied the mode ofgame-based teaching in the daily classes, and received more significantresults.This article consists of three main contents as follows:1.Theories of teaching Chinese as a foreign language are combinedwith the practice of author’s internship.On one hand,using theories toguide practice.On the other hand,testing theories by practice.Through the above method,Some principles are summed up:to guarantee a goodclassroom environment,to achieve the teaching goal, to set clear rules, toassure the teachers’ leading role, paying attention to theinterest.Besides,there are some particulars principles are summarizedaccording to the character features of primary pupils in Mongolia.2.Mention three typical cases,and discuss each game’s designconcepts, design intent, the specific part of the case, at the sametime,analyze the effectiveness of these cases and considerations.The firstgame called “Home the China Doll” is aimed at teaching positionwords.The second one called “Looking for Friends” is aimed at teachingvocabulary.The last one called “Exchange” is aimed at teaching writingChinese character.3.Select a representative game case from the above,then make aobservation.Describe the operation process, to show some pictures of thegame props, and recorded the conditions and atmosphere in the game.Atlast,through showing the examination results of the students before and after implementing the mode of game-based teaching,the visual effect ofthis mode is reflected.
