"Bi”sentence is a very common form in modern Chinese. It has long been the academicfocus of Chinese researchers, and so many senior scholars did extensively and deeply studies.However, the research of the sentence grammatical marker is few, this paper is an attempt toexplore the following aspects concerning "bi"clause based on the summary of formerinsightful studies on this field with the grammatical maker theory, situation semantics andcognitive grammar theory.The first chapter gives a brief introduction to the senior scholars’ studies from thediachronic and synchronic point, the general content and the source of the corpus of thisthesis.The second chapter focuses on the sentence mechanism of the "bi"sentence. Firstly, we’llmake a whole arrangement of the "bi"as a syntactic marker. Secondly, we’ll analyze themotivation that how to become a syntactic marker, and finally to analyze the function offorming sentences.The third chapter focuses on the scenarios semantic problem of the "bi"sentence. We’lldiscuss the"bi" sentence from the different scenarios, such as the meaning of equivalence,emphasis, preciseness, illegibility, exaggeration, change.The forth chapter concerns about the omitted phenomenon of the "bi"sentence. We’lldiscuss the omitted phenomenon of the "bi"sentence from the sentence mechanism and thescenarios semantic based on the link between the conclusion item and the points ofcomparison’ omit.The fifth chapter focuses on the teaching strategies of the Chinese as a foreign languageof the "bi"sentence. We’ll analyze the bias types during the teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage and the reasons how to produce it, and finally provides some valid suggestions forteaching Chinese as a foreign language.
