The regional balance of the Ming Dynasty’s examination system includes threeaspects:the quota of provincial examination system, the metropolitan examination divided thevolume enrollment system and the examination system of Hanlin Bachelor. Although thereare some candidates who occupy the amount of other provinces’, but on toll on the quota ofprovincial examination system is to be strictly executed.The quota of provincial examination system is mainly reflected on the amount in everyprovince. It throughs many adjustments and change, showing a different characteristics.There are two conditions for the quota of provincial examination system:the comprehensivestrength of every province and the needs of Ming Dynasty.The metropolitan examination divided the volume enrollment system includes twodetails: differentiating the examination paper between the South and the North, differentiatingthe examination paper on the South, the North and the Central. The former from1427to1454were executed8times,the latter began in1439,and then stability. In general, the metropolitanexamination divided the volume enrollment system is stricted execution.The examination system of Hanlin Bachelor is a institution which selects the senioroffocials. It just likes the metropolitan examination divided the volume enrollment system.The district distribution proportion has two:60%,40%and55%,35%,10%.
