The Imperial Examination System performed from Sui and Tang Dynasty.It has been used more than1300years and has had great influence on the politics,education,life,culture and art of China’s society.The related researches on the Imperial Examination System get the general emphasis from the academical field,even there are many scholars analyzing its relation with literature.The Imperial Examination and Literature of the Tang Dynasty(the work of Tang Xuanzong),tries to do research by seeping or communicating historiography and literature and making up their ancients’ related social materials of historical records and literatural descriptions.But there are still some omissions of the relation between the imperial examination and literature,like the relation between Ming Dynasty verse and the imperial examination.Therefore,the thesis reaches this aim by analyzing writers’imperial examinational identity to reveal the relation between the imperial examination and verse that many people do not think there is any relation with the types of literature.Try to think that,at that period,is there any people survivng without the Imperial Examination?Seeing from the author of The Whole Sanqu Collection of Ming Dynasty,it records in all410famous writers,among them only265writers were researched,and139writers took part in the Imperial Examination.The Imperial Examination is close to their life of these candidates,so it is possible to have the important element in their works.The thesis includes six parts.The preface mainly analyzes the research situation of recent imperial examination and verse,the origin and the purpose of the thesis.The first chapter talks about the writers of Imperial Scholars in the Whole Sanqu Collection of Ming Dynasty,also analyzes their works and imperial examinational ways with classification.The second chapter is about the writers of First-Degree Scholars and analyzes their works,even the influence of imperial undergoing on their works.The third chapter analyzes other officers by taking part in imperial examination,includes Imperial Tribute Students,College Students,Ming Jing.Although they did not succeed on the imperial way,they had the qualification to be officers,also analyzes their San qu works at the same time.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes some people suffered on their imperial way and no success,they expressed a kind of paradoxical attitude in their works.The conclusion summarizes the whole thesis and gets the conclusion.The thesis starts from Ming verse and discusses the imperial examinational writers of verse to reveal the response between verse and the Imperial Examination System,and explains the influence of Ming Imperial Examination on literary men.The thesis applies traditional researches and theorical analyses,also combines statistics to conclude and summarize the related analyses with data forms.The thesis collects all the related reference materials,counts up the related imperial examinational datas from the Whole Sanqu Collection of Ming Dynasty,lists and analyzes together,also links historical facts to offer reasonable grounds for the thesis.
