From The Syntax View To See The Influnce Of The Southern Dynasties Five-Characters Poems To Tang Poetry

The southern dynasties are the turning point in the Chinese poem history from the ancient verse to the modern style, and the Tang dynasty which represents the pinnacle of Chinese poetry, follows the southern dynasties. So the poem in the Southern dynasties must impact on the Tang poetry in all aspects. This study selects the Five-characters poem as the main object of study, from the point of syntax, the structure of line, to discuss the influence from the Southern dynasties’Five-characters poem to the Tang Poetry in detail.The first chapter deals with the development of the Five-characters poem from the Qin and Han dynasty to the Wei and Jin dynasty.he second chapter specifically discusses the development of Five-characters poem in the Southern dynasties, and the characteristic of syntax. We focus on four kinds of syntactic features of Five-characters poem present during the Southern dynasties different from the former dynasties.The third chapter discusses in detail about the three kinds of sentence pattern, noun sentences, complex sentences and special sentences, which typically influenced by the Southern dynasties’Five-characters poem.The chapter IV focuses on the influence of the Southern dynasties’Five-characters poem syntax to the Tang poetry.From the syntax to see the influence can enrich and deepen our understanding of Chinese classical poetry progress. Most of the Five-characters poem’s main sentence pattern in Tang dynasty has appeared in the Southern dynasties. The poets in the Southern dynasties have made a very important contribution to the classical poetry syntax, and profoundly influenced the modern poetry in Tang dynasty. So to speak, no creation and exploration made by the Southern dynasties’ poets, there is no formation of the Tang poetry syntax. This also proved from one side of the position and role played by Southern Dynasties poetry in classical Chinese poetry history can not be underestimated.
