From the perspective of literary reception, the reason of how Baozhao's reputation is ups and downs was researched by examination of the spread and influence of Baozhao's Poem on the readers, and thus sketched the evolution skeleton and track Baozhao's Poem acceptance by readers in the Southern and Northern Dynasties and Sui and Tang Dynasties.This dessertation consists of three main parts: an introduction, main text and appendix.The introduction illuminates the direction, theory basis and structure of the dissertation, as well as the context, main contents and methods for such a research.Main text consists of two parts and each part is divided three chapter further.The first part mainly reviews the acceptance situations of Baozhao in Southern and Northern Dynasties. Including three chapters.The first chapter sketchs the evolution of Baozhao's acceptance in Southern and Northern Dynasties. The change of the horizon of expectation for Baozhao from readers was discussed when his reputations was ups and downs at different periods in Southern Dynasty. The relations between readers and Baozhao's works are recognized according to that specifically historical context.The second chapter deals with the spreading and explaining of Baozhao's poem in Southern and Northern Dynasties. According to the comments on Baozhao in "Baozhao ji (edited by Yuyan), " Wenxuan and " Yutai Xinyong", and in " Gidaings Poets" (write by Zhong Yong), we discussed the spreading effect of Baozhao's poem and its explaining situation in Southern and Northern Dynasties.The third chapter is a study on the influence of Baozhao's work to the literature in Southern and Northern Dynasties. Specific investigation wasmade for the acceptance of Baozhao by writers in Southern and Northern Dynasties. Some authority naming are focused, such as Xiubaoti, Jiangbaoti and Xianzhang Baominyuan, and they are analyzed separately.The second part mainly reviews the acceptance situations of Baozhao in Sui and Tang Dynasties. Including three chapters.In the forth chapter, by fine statistic and deep analysis for the informations of general collections, specific collections, literary anthology, annotation books, historical books, sub-collections and poem comments in past dynasties, we investigates the main paths of Baozhao's poem spreading in Sui and Tang Dynasties and the mingling relations between the horizon of expectation exhibiting from Baozhao's poem and from readers in Sui and Tang Dynasties. Then we inspect historically the acceptance process of Baozhao's poem in Sui and Tang Dynasties.In the fifth chapter, poem critics and literate in Sui and Tang Dynasties were the objective of study. By inspecting the studies and comments on Baozhao in "Annotation of Anthology", "Essential Annotation of Ancient Yuefu Poem" and "Poem Pattern" etc., the role they played in Baozhao's acceptance as well as in the spreading of his poem are examined.In the last chapter, we mainly examined Baozhao's acceptance by some special readers who was writer themselves in Sui and Tang Dynasties. We annalyze specifically the acceptance of Baozhao's poem by Libai, Dufu, frontier style and odd style poet on the spirits and patterns, and last examine the inner structure of Baozhao's poem and its culture values. Thus illustrates the importance of Baozhao's poem in the development of poem in Sui and Tang Dynasties.The appendix consists of three main parts:illustrate Baozhao's acceptance by the record of Baozhao in past dynasties. Important editions of Baozhao's poem collection are also reviewed.
