The Narrative Research On Han Shaogong’s Novels

Han Shaogong is considered to be the most significant and unique one among the contemporary writers. From the late1970s until now, he never ceased writing, showing his inexhaustible vitality on writing. In the field of literature, he built a "novel world" which fulfilled with his individual charm, and from which we have learned abundant knowledge.In this article, the author attempts to study his novel journey which is divided into three sections included of the early stage, middle stage, and late stage on the basis of narratology, rhetoric, stylistics, the literature trends, ideology, and social background in different periods. Through analyzing Han Shaogong’s novels of different periods, there shows different writing characteristics, different narrative content, and different narrative characteristics.Analysis on this thesis will follow some aspects below:in the first chapter, the author will illustrate some significant issues consisting of "Han Shaogong’s phenomenon", domestic study condition, and the technological approaches made use of solving problem. In the second chapter, the author will study and analyze the creation of novel at early age85years ago. Through researching, the Characteristics of Han Shaogong’s novels at early age are closely combined with particular social and cultural background, the special historical situation at that time, and the contemporary politics. The author was also to investigate how Han Shaogong used his novels as a tentacle to reflect the environment, as well as the tendentiousness and narrative characteristics. In the third chapter, the author is going to study the creation of novels from85to the late90s. During this period, the main aspects of novels have been continued and developed by Han Shaogong. However, there existed great changes include of the theme of works, the writer’s creative consciousness, and the narrative strategy. In the fourth chapter, the current creation of novels is to be analyzed. The writing style and techniques became mature. In other words, all his previous experiences have integrated together as a whole. The author considered the most representative work to be his "the Horse Bridge Dictionary". Therefore, in this chapter,"the Horse Bridge Dictionary" will be chosen as an object to be analyzed, through which the main style of Han Shaogong’s novels will be revealed. In the last chapter, the author will give a conclusion of the study.
