The Study On The Narrativity Of Yuan Zhen’s Poetry

Yuan Zhen, called Yuan&Bai with Bai Juyi, is the most famous poet in Tang Dynasty. He did not go down to Bai Juyi on the statement and effect to the literary circles when he was living. The significance makes Yuan become a valuable research object. At present, there have been abundant researches for Yuan’s lifetime, literary creation and the content of his articles, with more successful achievement in the textual research on his lifetime, the punctuation and collation to his articles and the research on his short stories of Tang Dynasty. The noteworthy point is the plentiful specific and pertinent research on Yuan Zhen’s poems due to the effect of the openness of academic perception, the revolution of the researching method and the update of researching perspective, such as the research on Yuan’s Yuefu Poetry, antiphon poetry and elegy. However, the research on the overall poetry and the narrative of the poems is still to be improved. In this paper, the author insists on the narrative of Yuan’s poems, so that not only the understanding and reception to the poems can be enriched, but also can develop the cognizance of the progress of literary and the revolution of the society.The article will combine the Yuan Zhen poetry text, and made a more in-depth and meticulous analysis from several aspects of Yuan Zhen narrative poetry. First, it defines the narrative concept, presents narrate and narrative difference, so that made the foundation of the Yuan Zhen poetry narrative research. Second, Deployment Analysising the enhanced narrative by Yuan Zhen poetry in the content of the performance, meanwhile the poem was divided into reflecting the people’s livelihood sufferings, reflecting the personal life, describing the local customs and practices in three types. Third Discussing the form of Performance from the title, preface and notes in Yuan Zhen poetry. Fourth To view the narrative enhancement in the art of poetry, carefully analysising the narrative art such as in character image of mold, the fictional narrative plot, the render of scene. Fifth, discussing the deep-seated reasons of Yuan Zhen poetry enhanced narrative. Finally, summarized the Yuan Zhen poetry enhanced narrative of poetry historical significance.The method of this dissertation is illustrated respectively interpretation. With sorting alphabetically of Yuan Zhen’s poetry, the dissertation can explain the narrativity of his poetry more clearly. Based on the author’s context, this dissertation aims at explaining the history、grammar and spirit of his works. At the same time, his works is illustrated respectively. In respect to the author’s original meaning and follow the historical context of the basis, it can explain the narrativity of Yuan Zhen’s poetry more clearly and deeply and it can find the deep reasons of the narrativity in his poetry. Through these, we can rediscover Yuan Zhen’s poetry and look forward to establishing new thinking of reading and appreciating in Yuan Zhen’s poetry.
