A long history of study of Chinese words, vocabulary is the earliest, but it has notbeen vigorous development and was lagging behind. Because the reality of vocabulary ismore complex than grammar and voice. Although the development of vocabulary learningis more weak than other subjects, it has developed a lot. From ancient time to the present,researchers have conducted in-depth and detailed research on the terms, such as theanalysis of the vocabulary system, the research of the vocabulary development, theanalysis of vocabulary books, the dating study of the vocabulary and so on, have madesome achievements, promote the development of vocabulary studied. The research ofLanguage journals on vocabulary learning is also very rich, but very few people study thevocabulary of the language periodicals published research papers, which are a researchfield that has not been enough attention, so the best thing that reflects the change invocabulary development, and the characteristics of vocabulary in a period of time, did notplay its due role, and many valuable research results have not been fully utilized.This paper uses the "Chinese Language" which is the most representative andauthoritative in the language journals as the blueprint, and chooses the vocabularyresearch papers which are from the founding to the present--60years as the study objects,and uses bibliometric methods for its quantitative analysis, which could result in a strongauthentic data. Through qualitative research, summary and analysis of the "ChineseLanguage" vocabulary papers among the60years, discusses the overall development andthe direction of the vocabulary. Above all, the paper outlines the overall appearance andcharacteristics, which is conducive to the study of the word dating and has a positivemeaning to the development of vocabulary learning.
