This paper regards all Alai’s published works from1989to2009asa whole and refines the meaningful “epistemic reflexivity” in Alai’s novelsthrough unscrambling the deep meaning.Meaningwhile,it also sets about fromAlai’s life background and the origin of culture,so as to get a further study of thereason of the “epistemic reflexivity”.So on the basis of the above two points,paper here points out that the “epistemic reflexivity”in his novels has opened up anew path to the development of Tibetan’s literature when relating to Alai’sperspective and contemplation of his own ethnic group culture and humanuniversal significance.This paper is divided into three parts: introduction, body and conclusion.Introduction begins with the study of Alai’s novels creations and point out theTheoretical significance and Innovation of it.further more,it expounds the mainpoint and thinking of the study.As for the conclusion,besides summarizing thewhole paper,it gives “epistemic reflexivity” the significance to the theme of both“ethnic groups’anxiety”and “cultural restruction”.There are three chapters in the body of the paper. Firstly Chapter I defines theconnotation of “epistemic reflexivity”and points out the content of it is thethinking of history of ethnic groups, introspection of human nature andrelationships and critics to social politics. Chapter II Analyze the reason of“epistemic reflexivity” by giving us a deep grasp of two main characteristics ofAlai’s life——Village wandering and Culture through and the same time relatingto Literary Consciousness in the transition period. Chapter III gives us a specificexplanation of the Artistic value of “epistemic reflexivity”.Alai put his sightdeeply into home village with his introspection of National character and folklives in Tibetan.He found a new way to the “Roots of the nation”through the“epistemic reflexivity”in his creations.
