The Study Of Wang Jianzhong’s Revised Piano Music Of The Five Folk Songs Of Yunnan

Wang Jianzhong, a great contemporary influential piano composer of China, has always been exploring the ways of developing piano music by combining the western classic and modern composing techniques with that of the Chinese traditional ones. Among those dozens famous piano music works composed by him, the Five Folk Songs of Yunnan is the most influential and classical one. Besides the general exploring of Wang Jianzhong’s piano works’composing techniques and structure, this paper mainly studies the composing background, composing techniques, composing skills, the artistic structure and the aesthetic characteristics of the Five Folk Songs of Yunnan of him. The playing skills, playing features and keys of this music of him are fully developed in this paper. The process and the main points of the piano class teaching are analyzed and summarized, which combines the playing features and the class teaching. This would greatly benefit the playing and teaching of the piano music, which could guide the piano teaching practice.The ways of literature review, experts interviews and the logical analysis are mainly used in this study. From the perspective of the social background, geographic features, composing background and the composing techniques of the Five Folk Songs of Yunnan, the artistic structure, composing features, and the aesthetic characteristics of this music are explored in this paper. Meanwhile, the playing skills, practicing ways, and the class teaching ways and difficulties of this revised music are fully discussed in this paper. This paper gives a through and deep study of The Five Folks Songs of Yunnan which would be a great help to understand and appreciate this famous music, and it also would be beneficial and helpful to the playing and teaching of this music for the piano lovers and piano teachers.
