Take Yunnan folk songs for example, many composers compose based on materials of folk songs. As we all know, Yunnan region is a densely populated area of minorities which are of the most and various minorities have created rich music resources in Yunnan region. The piano music recomposed based on Five Yunnan Folk Songs are divertimentos respectively created by Wang Jianzhong in 1950s and Zhu Jianer in 1960s. Thy author analyzed their works in this paper for to further study on piano music of the style of Yunnan folk songs and do a bit for the study on piano music of nationalistic style of China.This paper is composed of following parts.Introduction: the significance of recomposed piano music based on Five Yunnan Folk Songs to China piano music was introduced, so was contents, purpose and importance of this study.Chapter 1 :is a brief introduction to piano music recomposed from folk songs. This chapter consists of two sections, one is the development history of piano music recomposed from folk songs and the other is the brief introduction to the recomposed music from Yunnan folk songs.Chapter 2: is the analysis of piano music recomposed from Five Yunnan Folk Songs.
