The early days of New China is a historical period full of change and revolution, filled withexploration and speculation, the events happened during this period, including the war to resist U.S.aggression and aid Korea, the Anti bacterial warfare, the campaign of learning the Soviet Union and themovement of scientific criticism, are always the focus of national history study and the study of the historyof the Communist Party of China. Science Bulletin is just founded at this particular time, it published notonly the research information and the achievements about science development at home and abroad butalso paid close attention to the situation of the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea, the Antibacterial warfare, the campaign of learning the Soviet Union and the movement of scientific criticism. Thispaper takes Science Bulletin as a material basis, trying to through a perspective different from theconventional historical perspectives to probe into Science Bulletin’s influence and reactions on thesepolitical events occurred in the early days of New China, to deepen the study of the hot events.The paper firstly makes a general analysis about Science Bulletin from science and society, role andidentity, origin and end, and on this basis, it focus on the relationships between the Science Bulletin andnational politics. From the second chapter, the paper uses the articles published on Science Bulletin as itshistorical basis, with three chapters, it makes a detailed inspection about the war to resist U.S. aggressionand aid Korea, the Anti bacterial warfare, the campaign of learning the Soviet Union and the movement ofscientific criticism respectively. As an academic journal, the historical materials published on ScienceBulletin, such as historical dates about the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea, the Anti bacterialwarfare, the campaign of learning the Soviet Union and the movement of scientific criticism still have acertain narrow-minded, however, the study about Science Bulletin’s power in the historical events’propaganda and mobilization has an important significance for today’s Chinese Communist Party andpeople’s Government correctly handle the relationship between media and politics.
