During the period of Japan's invasion into China, in view of the needs of its aggression, Japanese imperialism launched a extreme tragic bacteriological warfare in China, which caused great damage to Chinese people.Jiangxi is located in the boundary of east coastal and west inland. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, Jiangxi is the front war region. The strategic location is extremely important for she has many strategic military airfield(for example Yushan).The allied armies airplane carries on the strategic air bombing to the date combat and to the Japanese native place. Therefore, Jiangxi Province was one of the most serious victims of Japan bacteriological attack.The Japanese military committed 2 large-scale bacteriological attack to Jiangxi Shangrao area. The Japanese forces used the unify method which the airborne sow bacterium and the ground delivery. Many diseases, including pestilence, cholera, anthrax and typhoid caused thousands of death.Jiangxi bacterial warfare by Japanese invaders has caused the extremely serious harm. Infectious disease (such as plague) caused Jiangxi populace's massive deaths, caused the populace to fall into epidemic disease thanatophobia, harassed society's normal order. The injured survivors of the bacteriological warfare is bearing the grief which loses the relative and the illness of one's own human body for a long time. Bacteriological warfare pollution in natural environment has a long-term destruction. In the old epidemic-stricken area, the emergence of diseases such as plague, anthrax, etc, still has potential possibility.
