The Study On Confucianism And The Cultural Construction Of Subjectivity

China’s modernization is a constant process of inclining to modernity. The exploration of the modernization in China will inevitably have their own characteristics, which combined with its own national conditions. China’s modernization process is also stamped the national culture. Both new understanding of the modern and reacquainting the national culture in the globalization gave birth to the Subjectivity culture. The cultural construction of subjectivity reflects the characteristics of modernity and nationalism in China’s modernization. Modernity is the intrinsic necessity of modernization need to constantly develop and improve. Nationalism as an important and indispensable prerequisite of the modernization, also constantly interact with modernity. The cultural construction of subjectivity as a whole is a combination of these two aspects. The intrinsic quality of culture which has nationality and time force the cultural construction of subjectivity to be the unification of modernity and nationality. Confucianism is a traditional national culture which still affects modern society. On the one hand, Confucianism as a national culture is an important cultural background of the cultural construction of subjectivity, the other hand, Confucianism as the traditional culture is an important cultural resource of the cultural construction of subjectivity. The relationship between Confucianism and the cultural construction of subjectivity is complex and intricate because of its dual role. The cultural construction of subjectivity and a sound can not be separated from Confucianism. The process of development of cultural construction of subjectivity cannot be separated from Confucianism. Therefore, this thesis focuses on the relationship between this two sides and how to have a better incorporation.This thesis which base on the evolution of the relationship between Confucianism and the cultural construction of subjectivity, seen the Confucianism as a union of cultural background of cultural construction of subjectivity and cultural resources. One hand, Confucianism as a cultural background of China’s modernization, ceaselessly subject to transformation and influence of modernity, the other hand, as a kind of cultural resource, Confucianism need to constantly inheritance and innovation, and even integrated into the cultural construction of subjectivity which based on the modern transformation to improve the modernity and reflect the national character, and promote the cultural construction of subjectivity. Besides, this thesis also investigated the performance, requirements and specific ways which Confucianism integrated into the cultural construction of subjectivity.This thesis utilized the historical analysis method to inspect the historical evolution and experience of Confucianism and the cultural construction of subjectivity. Furthermore, with the process of comparative analysis of the subjectivity culture of the culture and advanced culture, post-modern culture of different cultural forms the subjectivity culture of the culture and advanced culture, post-modern culture of different cultural forms; it could produce the content and characteristics of the cultural construction of subjectivity. We also use the contradiction analysis method to distinguish the dual properties and role of Confucianism to provide a basis to grasp the relationship between culture of Confucianism and the cultural construction of subjectivity as well as the reason, forms, ways and significance of this combination.This thesis shows that the cultural construction of subjectivity is a kind of exploration to our country shifted from the culture of country to a culture of power as well as implemented cultural modernization. As the combination of modernity and nationality, its development and improvement cannot be separated from the influence of Confucianism as a traditional culture. Deal with Confucianism and the cultural construction of subjectivity in the context of further modernization and deepening globalization, not only contribute to the nurturing of the main cultural in order to conform consciously and promote China’s modernization, but also play an important role and enlightenment for the inheritance and innovation of culture.
