In recent years, with the continued growth of Chinese influence in the world, the Chinese language learning and speaking in worldwide entered a period of rapid growth. In this stage, Chinese language teachers and learners still pay more attention to the listening, speaking, reading, writing and daily communication, aimed at improving learners’ skill of modern Chinese. There has barely no research in Classical Chinese teaching. Via the "Wanfang" database, search the conjoined key words "teaching Chinese as a foreign language" and "Classical Chinese", the result shows "zero". The result infers that the research in the Classical Chinese teaching still in a blank period.Whether the field of foreign language teaching should involve the classical teaching? In this article the answer is "yes". With the expanding Chinese influence in the world, the number of Chinese learners is growing, as well as the continuous improvement of the Chinese culture in the forest status of world culture, the requirement level of learning Chinese will also be a comprehensive upgrade. Advance the requirements from the primary, shallow daily communication to the multi-level, various stylistic, pragmatic comprehensive learning. In which the Classical Chinese as the carrier of Chinese culture can not be replaced, must be a part of the foreign Chinese teaching.Teaching Classical Chinese as a Foreign Language is very special. How the second language learners to overcome the cultural barriers, to understand and accept this marginalized language, is not only a difficult problem, but also the key issues in this researching field. The specialties of the Classical Chinese teaching requires the cumculum design must be creative and innovation. The purpose and significance of the cumculum in Classical Chinese as a foreign language, are not just applying the Classical Chinese, but more importantly, to make the learners understand the Chinese culture deeply. This article will attempt to make a best approaching on the basis of existing theory.The article is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is introduction, giving an account of the significance of the thesis, expound the research methods and point out the difficulty. Review previous studies from the Chinese cumculum design and the Classical Chinese teaching as a Foreign Language. The second chapter is the requirement survey of the Classic Chinese as a Foreign Language teaching, obtained through a questionnaire survey of classical learning situation of foreign students, students on preliminary understanding of the classical teaching attitude. The third chapter is the curriculum design of the Classic Chinese as a Foreign Language, expound the principles and the syllabus of the Classical Chinese teaching. Chapter4th is a teaching case of the Classic Chinese as a foreign language. Design a curriculum based on "Dingbo sells ghost". Chapter5th is the conclusions and prospects, review the thesis, and give out the prospects of the Classical Chinese as a Foreign Language teaching.
