| In recent years, with the appearance of the Instructions on Courses of the Four-Year Music Major (Normal Education) in the Universities in China and the Outline of the Teaching Instructions on the Compulsory Courses for the Four-Year Music Major (Normal Education)in the Universities in China, the Theory Course of Singing is opened in many universities on their own. In essence, it is a new course enriching basic theories and basic knowledge in singing for students and widdening students connotation in singing. Not only its opening enriches the teaching content for the course, but it also makes the course more perfect. With the deepening of the teaching, some questions have emerged.from the teaching, such as the diversity of the course names, the imperfection of the teaching outline and the ununity of the teaching content, and so on. These questions hinders the teaching of the Theory Course of Singing as well as having impact on the deeper reformation of the course. So, the investigation, the analysis and the study on the teaching currency and textbooks of the Theory course of Singing for Music Major (Normal Education) in the universities becomes extremely urgent and important.Choosing the13universities with Music Major (Normal Education) in them in Hunan Province as the research objects, the article made an investigation, analysis and study on the current teaching and textbooks of the Theory Course of Singing in these universities. Through the study, the problems existing in the current teaching and textbooks of the Theory Course of Singing are found, and the corresponding analysis and reflection are done, with the suggestions and solutions given. It is composed of Introduction; Chapter One (the Investigation on the Current Situation of the Theory Course of Singing for Music Major in the Universities in Hunan Province); Chapter Two (the Investigation and Refection on the Existing Questions in the Theory Course of Singing for Music Major in the Universities in Hunan Province), Chapter Three(The Investigation and Analysis on the Current Situation of the Textbooks of the Theory Course of Singing in Hunan Province); Chapter Four (the Assumption for the Textbooks of the Theory Course of Singing); and Conclusion. Here, I expect the continual improvement in teaching and study level of for Music Major(Normal Education) in universities, meanwhile, I hope the study in this article can contribute a little to the reformation on the current theory course of singing. |
