The Contemporary Young Artists’Research Of The Meticulous Creation With City As A Theme

In recent years, the relationship between urban ink paintings and contemporary were gaining more attentions by the art world. The national exhibition on urban ink gradually increased in recent years, and has attracted a lot of attentions. The meticulous creation of the city as a theme in Urban Ink has occupied a large part of the attentions. This phenomenon is typical and related to my profession. Therefore, it is worthy to be study and research.In this thesis, I mainly inductively analysis the artists from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Nanjing Arts Institute, Sichuan University Academy of Art and other art institutions in order to understand the survival status of the contemporary young artists during their meticulous creation. I use the analysis of the artist’s creation, their lives, and the social environment to find out the law, summarize, research, and study. Under the influence of the contemporary cultural background, Meticulous is some fragmented tradition of excellence, and forgetting the progenitor of taste. But to restore meticulous creations to the specific time and space, in fact, it is not difficult to find out that most of the young artists refer the modern Western art in the meticulous creation of the city as a theme in order to break through the dull, rigid, routinization of meticulous performance specification, and then find some kind of expression of a breakthrough. Practice has proved that, in one hand, they absorb modern Western art critically and transform, reconstruct, and promote its nativelize based on a lot of work; in the other hand, re-excavated the implicited modern factor from the traditional arts with modern consciousness. All of these works will immeasurably benifit the promotion of transformation Meticulous to the modern fashion, and the new possibilities of meticulous creation. However, it slows down the reflection to the contemporary culture. The fundamental way of meticulous’development is to build more precise relationship with contemporary culture. How the Meticulous come into the contemporary is still a controversial issue. Modern ink painting, which can complete a major transformation in the language, is a contemporary representation itself. Affected by this, some modern Meticulous aritists’ works are more and more sophisticated, but increasingly embarked on the the Mannerist road, Coupled with growing alienation with the real life, their work has lost its original vitality and given a infinite repetitive feeling. Nevertheless, another view maintains that contemporary is not limited to the style, language, and formal originality, it shall also include the value of the mind and spirit. Specifically, it is to use the works to profoundly reflect the history and reality of social and cultural issues, and human survival status. If we regard the anti-tradition, language transformation and inner emotional catharsis, without envolving the background of social reform, as the ultimate goal, Chinese painting reform will enter the closed circle erected by modernism "elite" concept. Therefore, in order to present the characteristic of contemporary, the modern ink painters of the older generation have to converse within contemporary cultural context.To expanded discussion of the above issues, I use the results of some literature research with the reference of several masterpieces to demonstrate the importance of the present meticulous creation’s concept of innovation and molding in the urban environment. And through the analysis the problems found in the work of urban meticulous creation by different young faculties of the Artist problems, I made some recommendations to promote its continuous improvement. I hope these researchs can benefit the meticulous creation of contemporary young artists, as well as me as a reference.
