Analysis On The Creative Environment And The Value Orientation Of Contemporary Young Artists

This dissertation is based on author’s individual art practice. The author attempt to engage on the analysis on value systems shared by young artist among their art practices through author’s own works "Heimat", "City of Tragedy" and "Accidental Approaching". The creation of art works, by its essence is about the emotional reflections on artist’s own concept and ideology, as well as artist’s monologue that aims to connect him/herself with the outer world. Under the pluralism of contemporary art today, the artist are required not only being able in having monologues with themselves but also being capable in presenting and sharing his/her propositions with other individuals. The series of work "Accidental Approaching" is an experiment as author’s graduation project; it is also a conclusion on his previous art practice. The series of work also documented author’s shift in artistic language- from obvious to implicational and from figurative to abstractive that relates to author’ s realization of the subconsciousness and the origin of the world.
