A Discussion About The Aria Analysis And Performing Approaches Of Liu Er In The Puccini Opera Turandot

The opera Turandot is the last piece of master work by Puccini in his creative life, into which all his efforts and soul have been poured.Liu er is the representativein the opera, and is also the typical image worldwide. Her aria is popular with the audience up till now. Based on the opera characters, the author explores the characters and plots via various art approaches. The basic clue is:from the opera aesthetics, it realized the leap in opera image, thus bestowing the art charm to the piece of work. From the realistic sense, the thesis’s research objects are the character image, the musical elements in aria and the art charm of the composer. The thesis consists of four parts:the features of Liu er are analyzed and the creative background of Turandot is introduced in Chapter Ⅰ. Puccini and Turandot Ⅱ. The music format of aria in two pieces of Liu er and the works itself are analyzed in Chapter Ⅲ. In Chapter Ⅳ, the two pieces of aria in Liu erare dealt with for its singing approaches. The thesis aims to better shaping Liu erand realized it combined with personal characteristics.
