In recent years along with the development and popularization of piano teaching,the introduction and publication of piano textbooks are more and more. The growingprosperity of the piano teaching material market and increasing teaching theories notonly provides more references and choices for teaching, but also puts forward newchallenges. Maintaining and improving the relaxing piano teaching environment, withChinese characteristics of piano teaching material and the correct standardizationguidance of teaching method will be suitable for the development direction of Chinasocial environment "Chinese piano education system ". Therefore, Chinesecharacteristics of piano teaching, is an important base to promote and form this newsystem.By comparative study on the application of Chinese and Russian teachingtextbooks, there are some differences in teaching, educational system and their ownfeatures in the textbook writing. Russian teaching textbooks focus oncomprehensiveness during the process of learning, while Chinese textbooks are also inconstant innovation, exploration, and educators are paying more and more attention tothe basic knowledge of music learning, however, piano teaching materials are not fromthe shallower to the deeper.Generally, the basic music knowledge is the content of music enlightenmentlessons or for piano grading test, which is called assault type" education. Therefore, thepiano teaching material is not fully combined with piano learning so that in the processof learning piano music and cultivation of comprehensive ability, they are insufficient.In addition, the domestic materials utility and ornament remain to be improved anddeveloped. The teaching material design, structural content, the nation’s outstandingmusic and multicultural aspects should be shown with Chinese characteristics, teachingmaterials. Teachers should use the teaching experience, their own humanitiesaccomplishment and wisdom to make excellent textbooks comprehensive utilized, reasonably extended. The effects of teaching content are fully displayed to themaximum limit, so that students have strong interest in playing piano at the firstbeginning, which not only lays a solid foundation on the skills and techniques, but alsoprovides a good beginning for lifelong music quality development.
