A Research On Chinese Piano Education Since 1949

2009 is the sixtieth anniversary of the founding of The People's Republic of China. The political, economic, and cultural fields of China has made enormous changes. At the same time, the Chinese piano art and education have also followed the development of the motherland, all the way keeping growing. As an essential means of promoting culture and arts education is also reflected in the music area. The consolidation, inheritance and promotion of Piano music and art culture need to achieve through the "Piano education" .In this paper, the development process of Chinese piano education is for the discussion thread, research the changes from the academies of professional piano music education, social and amateur groups, as well as Chinese piano education teaching materials. Based on documentation inspection, comparative research and analysis such as music education research side, research and analysis development of Chinese piano education. for different times and different stages.This article discusses the period from 1919 to 2009.And the main discussed time is after 1949 , which is the state's founding date. Text based on time can be divided into three parts.The first chapter is review and overview of the Chinese piano education. The first Chinese piano education period is from "5·4" New Culture Movement in 1919 to 1949, the People's Republic of China established. This period is embryonic and exploration of the Chinese art of piano and piano music, but also the initial period of Chinese piano education. This period can be divided into two stages, which named"the early piano professional education period"(from 1919 to 1937) and"the Chinese piano education in China during the war period"(1937 till September 1949).The second chapter studies the development and construction of Chinese at the beginning of three decades. It is divided into"the early founding of seventeen years"(from 1949 to 1966) and"the lingering confinement period"(from 1966 to 1978). The third chapter is Chinese revitalization and the rise of the piano education in the period. That is, the condition of the piano education since reform and opening up, divided into"the times of reform and opening up of the Chinese piano education"(from 1979 to 1990) and"Chinese piano education faced to the new century,"(from 1990 to 2009).I hope that by studying the Chinese piano educational development since the state's founding , we could sort out the sequence of history, look for deficiencies, sum up the experience of the development and characteristics, grasp the direction of the piano education according to a mirror for the future development. So that can make Chinese piano education and Chinese piano music, arts better integration with the world, and thus better development and progress.
