Research On The Rhetoric Of Lies Centering On The Study Of Wang Xifeng’s Lie

Lies is a kind of language expression with strong subjective judgment andwillingness, it’s aim is to deceive the others, it needs the speaker to control thelanguage by thinking carefully, then the speaker can use it. In the process ofrepresentation lies, rhetoric is an important way of expression and strategies. Underthe effect of rhetoric, lies can be more in line with the willingness of the speaker andmeet the situation at the time. Then the accepted speaker will accept therepresentation of the speaker and believe it. Because of the different motives,contextual features and so on, different speakers will take different strategies, theywill take a lot kinds of rhetoric strategy and rhetoric method. The expression of liescan greatly show the variation and function of the language.This thesis takes Wang Xifeng’s lie expression as a basic point to study on the lierhetoric of“A Dream of Red Mansion”，clarifys the rhetoric strategy and the effect ofit, highlights the language style of Wang Xifeng by comparing with the o ther people.
