Research On Language Rhetoric In Guo Jingming’s Novels

As "language is the first element of literature" is recognized by more and more people,literary language has become a research hot topic.Guo Jingming is a language seeker and a leader in youth literature.Many studies focus on his marketing success and the literariness of novels,and there are few research results involved in the language rhetoric of novels.This paper mainly focuses on rhetoric,with metrological stylistics and linguistic stylistics,and makes an objective interpretation of Guo Jingming’s novel language by induction,statistics and comparison.This article mainly include five parts:The first part is the intro,mainly presents Guo Jingming’s creation process,introduces the reasons of choosing this topic,summarizes the research findings of words in Guo Jingming’s novels,makes a brief comment,and then points out the research content and meaning.The second part analyzes the phonetic rhetoric,firstly,it introduces the types and usage of repetition words and copying words in Guo Jingming’s novels,makes a comparison between Guo Jingming and other writers,who have high language consciousness,to present the differences and similarities.Then it introduces the experimental pauses and punctuation.Thirdly,it introduces the concrete embodiment of the syllable coordination.Finally,it analyzes the tendency of homophonic words.The third part,from the point of view of vocabulary,grammar and rhetoric,firstly,it introduces the common and unusual usage of color words in Guo Jingming’s novels,and compares them with Yan Lianke and Mo Yan,introduces the symbolic meanings of white,red and black.Secondly,it analyzes the use of Beijing dialect and Shanghai dialect,vulgar language,idioms and English.It also analyzes the types of raw words,the rhetorical effect of stylistic mix and the gains of contradictory expressions.What is more,it analyzes the experiments in changing the parts of speech of words.Finally,it introduces the abnormal collocation between words.The fourth part,from the perspective of sentence rhetoric,it points out the pattern of the combination of long sentence,whole sentence,short sentence,scattered sentence,loose sentence,variant sentence and ordinary sentence,then points out the creatures existing in the expression of sentence.The fifth part expounds the specific figures of speech in Guo Jingming’s novels,including metaphor,repetition,exaggeration and parody.It mainly introduces the types of metaphor and the characteristics of metaphorical objects,and points out the effectThe sixth part summarizes all the contents and points out the innovation and shortcomings of the paper.Many scholar criticize Guo Jingming’s novels.In terms of his language,this paper adopts the viewpoint of dividing into two to affirm his advantages,and points out his shortcomings through comparison and corpus analysis.
