Rhetorical Analysis On The Proses Of Qiao Ye

Qiao Ye, a young essay writer, whose prose works have harmonious sounds, richvocabularies, flexible sentences and a variety of rhetorical approaches, and thelanguages are fresh and elegant, and sentiments are unique and profound, so they aredeserved to be researched. This article will collect the twelve essays she has publishedas our study object, under the guidance of rhetorical theory to study the rhetoricalfeatures of her works systematically, in order to learn more about the artisticcharacteristics of Qiao Ye’s prose works, and be better to interpret her language arts,and fully appreciate the rhetorical characteristics and charms.This paper consists of three parts. The first part is introduction, which focuses onthe research of origin of this thesis, introducing the domestic current research situationabout Qiao Ye’s proses, and then put forward the main contents of this article,meanwhile illustrate the source of the corpus of this paper and the main researchmethods. The second part is the main part of the paper, it is divided into five chaptersto expound. The first, second and third chapters respectively on the analysis ofrhetorical features of Qiao Ye’s proses on phonetic rhetoric, lexical rhetoric, andsentence rhetoric; the fourth chapter examines the use of rhetoric of her proses,detailed analysis on the use of the parallelism, metaphor, repetition, references,analogy questions, ask, top true, loop, parody, demolition of the word, comparation,the similarities and differences, paradox, particularly focus on analyzing parallelismand metaphor; the fifth chapter is analysis on the chapter rhetoric of Qiao Ye’s proses,and discussed in details on the characteristics of its title, begins and end of rhetoricfeatures. The third part is conclusion, it does a brief summary of previous researchand noted that where should continue to research in the future.
