This study used qualitative research methods,through semi-structured depth interviews to explore the content of the academic procrastination.Targeted sampling to select12female postgraduate students,the group of academic procrastination is7,the orther group is5.Aimed at rich the theory of postgraduate academic procrastination for later academic procrastination research provides theoretical basis and in a more systematic,true and comprehensive understanding of the academic procrastination,build the foundation of intervention and defeat it in the future.The results of the study show that:First,the academic procrastination definition:when learning task, not in a hurry to do. or learning plan is not carried out as planned, always until the deadline, had to do, should do it just to do.Second, from the beginning time academic procrastination is divided into:early start, but because the problems and delay has dragged to finally start. Has dragged to the last start divided into active delay and passive delay.Third,the performance of academic procrastination:excuse, learning the delay not afraid of someone who has been out, effect on the hour.Excuse of academic procrastination commonly used a personal leave,sick leave and still have time. Be found belong to external constraints, most of the delay is not seen afraid.Fourth,the influence of academic procrastination:have emotional impact, a waste of time, influence the development and orther people to your evaluation and influence others.Fifth, cause of academic procrastination is divided into internal cause and external cause, internal reason including character、the importance of study and experience accumulation; External reason including task characteristics, learning results have no constraint, the environmental impact and the distraction.Sixth, learn about the procrastination solution, the author thinks that still use personal growth way, to let the mind to mature, no longer escape, but face; no longer to refuse, but to accept. And let the "subjective time" and "objective time" harmonious get along. From the school’s point of view,school strict with students. Students inert, requirements of the loose, it would be easy to negligent and cope with.
