In primary school,classroom learning is an important learning method for primary school students.Primary school is also an important period for formation of healthy personality.However,many students’ enthusiasm for English learning continue to decline with age,and even irritability and depression will occur.At the same time,there are many students who have delays in English-related learning tasks.These non-intellectual factors affect students’ English performance more or less,so the exploration of primary school students’ English academic emotions and academic procrastinationhas important theoretical and practical significance.In this study,400 students who study in a primary school of Tianjin from Grade 4 to Grade 6 were used as research subjects to explore the English academic emotions and academic procrastination.The main research questions are as follows:1)Is there a difference between gender and grade in primary school students’ English academic emotions and English academic procrastination?2)Is there a correlation between primary school English academic sentiment and English academic delay?3)Does primary school students’ English academic emotions and English academic procrastination affect English performance?This study used questionnaires and statistical questionnaires,and used Spss statistical software for analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis.The results of data analysis showed that:(1)The negative high awakening of male students was significantly higher than that of female students,while the positive high arousal of female students was significantly higher than that of male student;(2)Boys are less active in learning and delayed in learning behavior than the girls.There is no significant difference between the different grades in the different grades;(3)Negative low wake,negative high wake and delay There are significant positive correlations in each dimension,while the other two dimensions are negatively correlated with delay;(4)Negative low arousal,positive low arousal,and delayed learning behavior have significant effects on performance.Negative low awakening is more serious,and results are The worse it will be;the higher the positive low,the higher the score will be;the more serious the learning behavior will be,the worse the score will be;and the other dimensions Degree has no significant effect on the score.
