Academic procrastination is a self-ability learners in specific learning tasks under consciously taken various measures to achieve the objective to delay the task start or completion time to satisfy themselfs. Academic delay of the academic and life is obvious. Research shows that it not only to some extent hamper the completion of the task, and will lead to anxiety, tension and other emotions affect the individual's mental health.This study used questionnaires, select 800 postgraduate from the Shanxi University, Shanxi Normal University, Southwest University and Jiangsu University to research. This study aims to investigate the academic procrastination, coping style and loneliness of the graduate students, then analyse the relationship between the academic procrastination,coping styles, and loneliness, so learn and master the characteristics of the graduate students 'academic procrastination, the implementation of interventions for the education sector a theoretical basis.The main conclusions of this study are:(1) Delays in academic graduate students universal, over sixty of individual existence moderate delay; the rate of serious lower; half of the students have the academic impact of a serious delay, to reduce the strong will of the delay.(2) Graduate students, academic delay differences in the types of tasks: reading a serious delay in the academic literature of information, participation in academic discussion/meeting with teachers and other tasks less delays. At the same time, certain types of tasks in the gender differences, female students than male students delay.(3) In the academic year delay between the situation, the study of a delay significantly lower than the studyâ…¡and studyâ…¢, while the highest academic research and the three delay points. Differences in the professional, liberal arts studies to delay the most serious, significantly higher than the science and engineering, and engineering with a minimum of delay scores.(4) Loneliness among graduate students than undergraduates and the general population, and the graduate group in the emotional loneliness than social loneliness; Loneliness factors in the year a significant difference, second-year study of loneliness were significantly higher than the other two grades;differences in the professional, the engineering and liberal arts less loneliness, the highest science of loneliness, a clear difference.(5) Graduate coping better overall condition, compared with the normal group showed more positive response; married group coping better than the unmarried group; research and third-year deal is better than the other two grades.(6)Graduate students, coping style and loneliness is significantly related to the situation, in which active coping style and loneliness had a significant negative correlation, and negative coping style and loneliness were associated with significantly positive.(7) Graduate students, coping style and loneliness are related to academic procrastination significant correlation, including positive coping and academic delays have a significant negative correlation; positive response for the school to delay the situation with a certain degree of predictive power, while negative coping and loneliness for the academicdelay in the predictive power of lower status.
