Historical Textual Research On《Biographies Of Guanzhong&Yanying》

The thesis attempts to analyze the historical sources of Guanzhong and Yanzi’s skills, and focuses on the analysis of Sima Qian’s principles of historical data selection, in order to study and understand his historical ideology.The thesis is divided into six parts.The prolegomenon introduces the research basics and methods of the thesis, and the basis of the historical materials.The first chapter analyzes the writing background and importance of Biographies of Guanzhong&Yanzi.The second chapter is the textual researches on the historical achievements of Guanzhong and Yanzi. It analyzes Sima Qian’s principles and reasons of selecting materials about their political achievements, through the researches on Guanzhong’s domestic and foreign policies such as declaring a war on Chu, protecting sate of Yan and the alliance at Ko, and Yanzi’s thrift and honest, etc.The third chapter is the textual researches on their friendship circles. This part analyzes Sima Qian’s principles and reasons of material selection, through the researches on those important historical records on their friendship circles.The fourth chapter is the historiography accomplishment on Biographies of Guanzhong&Yanzi, which has very successful model significance on material selection, reflecting the advanced view of history.The last part is the epilogue.It’s something about impressions of the research...
