Correlation Research Of The Psychological Health Status And The Coping Of The Style In The Female Prisoners

Objective To investigate the female prisoners’psychological health status, the solution style and the relevant affecting factors involved,and the factor and the relationship between solution style and mental health to identify risk factors related crimes. Furthermore, to explore. providing a scientific basis for further enhanced the psychological education for female criminalsMethods The1500female prisoners of Shandong Female Prison were investigated with the Solution Style Questionnaire,and Self-evaluation check list90(SCL-90), Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS),and self-designed general condition questionnaire.All available questionnaires were established a data by Epidata3.0and were analyzed by SPSS17.0. The main statistic analysis involved factor analysis,descriptive analysis,T-test,Chi-square test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation and stepwise regression analysis.Results:1.The total rate of psychological disorders in the female criminals It was found that the1420female criminals were analyzed,45.7%female prisoners had the psychological health problems,scores of all the factors and the number of positive items were higher in prisoners than those in normal controls.The differences were statistically significance. In SAS,the total rate of anxiety were30.2%,50-59are low anxiety an above moderate anxiety were18.6%,8.9%and2.6%。In SDS,the total rate of anxiety were59.1%, low anxiety an above moderate anxiety were31.5%,22.4%and5.1%。2.The solution style of female prisoners The scores of problem solving, illusion and help seeking were higher in prisoners than those in normal controls (t=3.80-7.01, P<0.05). The scores of the positively solution style were higher in female prisoners than those in normal controls. The scores of the negatively solution style were lower in female prisoners than those in normal controls the difference is statistically significance (P<0.05)3. It has the influential role to the personality raise. The criminality has the harm function to criminal personality and the psychologically healthy. The culture and education, the mood stable,the good marriage and the professional factor are the factors that can avoid the crime. The criminal exists the terrorist factor possible to be no use to the crime prevention. The disparity in age section, the different marital status serve a prison sentence criminal to have statistics significance in dimension difference, The different years of schooling serve a prison sentence criminal’s to have statistics.psychological health status is correlative closed with.The psychological health status positively correlative with problem solving, illusion and help seeking.and it is negatively correlative with self-reproach.4.Correlation analysis of the female prisoners’psychological health status and the solution style:The psychological health status of the female criminals correlative with problem solving, illusion and help seeking,and self-reproach, retreat and rationalization(r1～r11=-0.252～0.183,P1～P11<0.05).The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the primary factors of influence female criminals’s psychological health status were the prison term and positively solution style,and the standard score of SAS and SDS (P<0.05)。Conclusion:1. The result indicated that the status of the psychological health of female criminals were serious abnormal, the female prisoners psychological health status is correlative closed with Solution style.(t1～t11=2.623～7.015, P1～P10<0.01).2.
